After finishing up the dishes, mom decided to take a different approach. She sat down next to him on the couch and gently asked, “Hey buddy, do you think I could help you study for your upcoming exams? I really want to see you succeed.”
This time, small hua looked up from his game and smiled at his mom. “Sure mom,” he said with a grin. “I appreciate it.”

As they spent more time together studying for exams and doing homework, small hua began to open up more about his thoughts and feelings towards school. He shared with her how much he struggled in math class but how determined he was to improve.

Over time, their bond grew stronger as they spent more quality time together in the evenings after dinner or on weekends during family outings.
